re: [RP Notepad]: 3/25/2010 Grom'gol Base Camp

The Place: Grom'gol Base Camp in the lovely Cape of Stranglethorn, home of raptors, crop-armor-clad Farstriders, and more trollish ruins than one can see in a single evening.

The Players: Dayari Antarios, a Forsaken rogue whose memory is not all that it could be at times; Meton, a Sin'dorei death knight whose actions speak louder than words; Solivar Eventide, a death knight who wanders...a very great deal.

Three dead brothers of Steadfast met next to a bonfire...

3/25 20:37:10.955 Solivar says: Greetings, Dayari. Greetings, Meton.

3/25 20:37:17.545 Dayari says: Oh, you're here.

3/25 20:37:23.572 Dayari says: I was watching the fire.

3/25 20:37:39.645 Meton says: Hello.

3/25 20:37:55.367 Dayari waves at Meton.

3/25 20:37:58.627 You nod at Dayari.

3/25 20:38:26.901 Dayari says: The fire's nice.

3/25 20:38:36.275 Solivar says: ...I sometimes envy your ability to block out external distractions, brother.

3/25 20:39:19.578 Dayari says: It's easy. The fire's very easy to look at.

3/25 20:39:38.506 Dayari says: There are better ones though.

3/25 20:40:08.037 Solivar tilts his head questioningly.

3/25 20:40:18.171 Dayari says: This one's just a pile of wood.

3/25 20:40:38.501 Dayari says: The Hallow's End one is a man on fire.

3/25 20:41:08.480 Solivar says: ...True. Some fires are better than others.

3/25 20:41:43.789 Dayari says: Yes.

3/25 20:41:46.286 Solivar says: Though this one provides light enough to see by, which is mostly what I wanted.

3/25 20:41:58.343 Dayari says: It is.

3/25 20:42:40.611 Solivar holds up a long leaf of parchment, obviously removed with care from an almanac, and now carefully annotated.

3/25 20:42:59.712 Meton says: What is that?

3/25 20:43:18.147 Dayari says: Something with writing on it.

3/25 20:43:26.609 Meton says: I got that much.

3/25 20:44:29.636 Dayari says: Troll thing?

3/25 20:44:54.693 Solivar says: I have been making a tour of the attractions here, taking notes on points of interest. Yes, troll thing. I have been thinking on Jinjinn's problem, and on our own.

3/25 20:45:24.019 Meton watches the worg pup as he looks at the paper tentatively.

3/25 20:45:31.219 Solivar says: If you do not mind, brothers, I am going to make myself comfortable.

3/25 20:45:44.094 Dayari says: Alright

3/25 20:46:08.178 Solivar sits, the fresh knicks and scratches in his armor fairly evident, along with a few newish bloodstains otherwise.

3/25 20:46:55.416 Dayari says: What was Jinjinn's problem? I think I forgot.

3/25 20:47:16.673 Meton says: He spoke of voices in his head

3/25 20:47:45.953 Solivar says: Jinjinn hears the voices of his spirits constantly -- he cannot make himself not hear them.

3/25 20:48:01.855 Dayari says: Oh, yes. The voices.

3/25 20:48:06.918 Dayari says: I don't think I'd like that much.

3/25 20:48:34.369 Solivar says: There is nothing to recommend it.

3/25 20:48:54.797 Dayari says: I hear some people like company.

3/25 20:49:19.046 Solivar says: Even if the contact is not actively malevolent...too much, all the time, will eventually wear on anyone's sanity.

3/25 20:50:09.326 Dayari says: So what did the map have to do with the voices?

3/25 20:50:31.642 Solivar twitches slightly, and shakes his head.

3/25 20:51:02.183 Solivar says: I have been doing research, such as I may, into the manner in which the ancient trollish tribes constructed their settlements.

3/25 20:51:17.275 Dayari says: Like animals, I thought?

3/25 20:51:20.387 Dayari says: Nests.

3/25 20:51:57.635 Solivar says: My experiences in Zul'Drak, in the sanctuaries of the Drakkari gods, brought a suspicion to mind.

3/25 20:52:50.205 Solivar says: Yes, the general constrution is somewhat nestlike. But the temples...the temples are almost like a summoning circle.

3/25 20:53:10.165 Dayari says: Strange.

3/25 20:53:52.647 Solivar says: Made to *contain* what is called up...and perhaps more.

3/25 20:54:10.414 Dayari says: There's the bone dragon in one. I've seen it. It took my skin away.

3/25 20:54:55.566 Solivar says: It is very similar, in practice, to the way warlocks bind the demons they summon and the necromancers of the Scourge capture disembodied souls until they can be used again.

3/25 20:55:42.651 Dayari says: I didn't think that Trolls were warlocks, just head shrinking things.

3/25 20:55:47.793 Solivar says: I have met her -- in truth, it was she who first put the idea in my mind. The precincts of her sanctum are a prison for the souls of her treacherous followers.

3/25 20:56:06.261 Solivar says: But the area of it is sharply delinated.

3/25 20:57:02.890 Dayari says: Met who?

3/25 20:57:10.284 Dayari says: No, not Meton.

3/25 20:57:22.426 Solivar says: The bone dragon -- the one in Zul'Drak.

3/25 20:58:05.008 Dayari says: Oh, that one.

3/25 20:58:27.168 Solivar says: I have been thinking -- and attempting to determine -- if this is a universal thing among all trollish temples or if the ones in Northrend are unique somehow.

3/25 20:59:06.045 Solivar says: If they are unique...then I will have to risk having my head bitten off by irritable dead troll deities to study it more closely.

3/25 20:59:17.813 Dayari says: Could always look: they're everywhere, like rabbit burrows.

3/25 20:59:52.358 Solivar says: My thoughts. And my other thought....

3/25 21:00:26.138 Dayari says: That guy.

3/25 21:00:53.139 Solivar says: If the troll temples are truly sanctuaries -- places of safety for the gods that inhabit them -- could not those protections be extended to others? And, if so, how?

3/25 21:01:39.063 Solivar says: If we could create such a sanctuary, even a small one, it might help our brother control how his spirits approach him and when.

3/25 21:01:41.225 Dayari says: Or could be gotten rid of. That'd get rid of the voices, maybe? Jinjinn would like that.

3/25 21:02:09.365 Solivar nods slightly.

3/25 21:02:42.789 Solivar says: I understand, at least to some extent, how he feels.

3/25 21:02:42.789 Dayari says: Could steal the bricks, one at a time. That would take a while though.

3/25 21:03:28.716 Dayari says: You shouldn't hear Troll gods though.

3/25 21:03:31.786 Solivar says: Yes. And I am not certain if the architecture of the temples is the source of the protection...or if it is some magic employed by the trolls themselves.

3/25 21:05:01.196 Solivar says: ....Not the troll gods so much. The living ones, at least. The Drakkari mammoth-god's shrine still echoes with his death -- I cannot go too close to it.

3/25 21:05:27.952 Dayari says: Oh. You should stay away from it then.

3/25 21:06:38.054 Solivar says: And...while I no longer hear the King...the disembodied dead are never wholly silent.

3/25 21:07:01.862 Dayari says: Must be difficult to hear them. Quiet is better.

3/25 21:07:38.050 Solivar says: I agree.

3/25 21:07:47.097 Solivar smiles wryly.

3/25 21:08:02.536 Solivar says: So I admit that my motives are not entirely charitable in this.

3/25 21:08:18.684 Dayari says: Charity isn't supposed to be any good anyway.

3/25 21:09:33.286 Solivar says: Perhaps not. But as comrades in arms, we are meant to stand by one another and defend one another, are we not?

3/25 21:09:52.912 Dayari says: I think so.

3/25 21:10:22.648 Dayari says: But, that's not charity.

3/25 21:10:41.532 Solivar says: Our brother Jinjinn suffers without relief, and it is beyond his own power to cure what causes him such pain. Should we not act to aid him?

3/25 21:11:39.942 Dayari says: ....I think....

3/25 21:12:08.889 Dayari says: It's not charity though. Jinjinn could owe us a favor. Favors are useful. I've been told that.

3/25 21:12:19.004 Meton says: True

3/25 21:12:30.860 Solivar says: Perhaps it is not 'charity,' but a desire to act as brothers ought -- with care and compassion towards our own.

3/25 21:12:58.120 Dayari says: Like an army. We can't be strong if one of us is weak.

3/25 21:13:36.437 Solivar 's eyes narrow a fraction, but he nods in agreement with the point.

3/25 21:13:51.552 Meton says: Hrrmph...also true. If I could kill Arthas by myself I wouldn't be here right now.

3/25 21:13:59.451 Dayari says: Who?

3/25 21:14:25.819 Meton says: The Lich King

3/25 21:14:48.048 Solivar says: Yes. There are some things that none of us may face on our own -- or, if we did, it would mean our ends. I believe this is one of those things for Jinjinn.

3/25 21:14:55.528 Dayari says: Oh, him.

3/25 21:15:28.037 Solivar says: If bolstering his strength makes us all stronger...then the good of it is clear.

3/25 21:15:35.924 Dayari says: Best to avoid that, familiar faces are good to keep.

3/25 21:15:40.805 Meton says: Hell...I'd face my end if he went down.

3/25 21:16:41.209 Meton says: It would be nothing, I've already faced my end after all.

3/25 21:16:50.641 Dayari says: Revenge is important. I'm not good at it though.

3/25 21:17:07.467 Dayari says: I don't think dying is a nice thing though.

3/25 21:17:12.952 Dayari says: Lots of liquid and blackness

3/25 21:17:23.293 Solivar says: .....

3/25 21:18:07.608 Meton says: It can be satisfying when it's an enemy going down.

3/25 21:18:20.240 Meton says: Like all those Scourge moles I found.

3/25 21:18:21.566 Dayari says: It stops them from moving.

3/25 21:18:24.056 Dayari says: Moles?

3/25 21:18:35.497 Meton says: Surprising how many there were in the major cities.

3/25 21:18:53.558 Meton says: Even some higher ranking officers were under his control.

3/25 21:18:59.351 Solivar says: It is true that my own existence is not....precious to me now. And that he must pay for what he has done. But I also wonder...

3/25 21:19:35.699 Solivar sighs.

3/25 21:19:45.597 Meton says: Mole, as in a hidden agent

3/25 21:20:18.585 Dayari says: Oh.

3/25 21:20:43.383 Dayari says: Did you stop them from moving?

3/25 21:20:50.415 Meton says: I've made some enemies there..yeah. All of them dead.

3/25 21:21:08.286 Meton says: Can't trust them no matter how much they begged for forgiveness.

3/25 21:21:31.234 Meton says: I'm not the right being to ask for that anyhow.

3/25 21:21:37.546 Dayari says: Begging doesn't sound good. Topper used to beg.

3/25 21:21:54.532 Solivar says: Topper?

3/25 21:22:23.446 Meton says: I've killed mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and so forth so people aren't exactly happy with me.

3/25 21:22:24.216 Dayari says: I think that was his name. So him at a visit somewhere once.

3/25 21:22:57.252 Meton says: But the guards are too scared to touch me and people like Thrall know better than to stop me from weeding them out.

3/25 21:23:34.484 Dayari says: I don't think Orcs like traitors either.

3/25 21:23:43.378 Dayari says: I don't think that they like much.

3/25 21:23:50.295 Meton says: I believe that anyone does.

3/25 21:23:54.049 Solivar says: The adherents of the Cult are a poison that must be purged, I agree. Nothing good can come of letting them fester.

3/25 21:24:00.242 Meton says: I don't think that anyone does*

3/25 21:25:11.051 Meton says: It just gets a bit more messy when their family finds out who they were and what I did to them.

3/25 21:25:38.294 Meton says: Most think they could be spared if they pledge themselves to the Scourge.

3/25 21:25:40.010 Dayari says: If they have brothers, it could be a problem.

3/25 21:25:51.751 Meton says: Some have come after me

3/25 21:26:26.418 Dayari says: I wouldn't sleep then, if I were you. They can find you if you sleep.

3/25 21:26:31.355 Solivar says: ....I cannot imagine much good coming of that, either. No offense, brother.

3/25 21:26:33.280 Meton says: Obviously, none have succeeded so far.

3/25 21:27:07.554 Dayari says: No, they wouldn't have.

3/25 21:27:13.848 Meton says: Very few have the will to strike me if they find me

3/25 21:27:58.914 Dayari says: Strange. I get hit a lot. Why don't they hit you?

3/25 21:28:04.679 Meton says: Fear.

3/25 21:28:58.531 Meton says: Then eventual realization that what I did had to be done.

3/25 21:29:20.947 Meton says: One of them was some teenager with a sword

3/25 21:29:37.850 Dayari says: Hmm...teenagers shouldn't have swords.

3/25 21:30:51.656 Meton says: Indeed.

3/25 21:30:57.408 Dayari says: Not a good time to fight with them. There are bigger things with bigger weapons.

3/25 21:30:57.784 Meton says: He was no exception.

3/25 21:31:08.168 Dayari says: It's a bad idea to pick up a sword until you can use it.

3/25 21:31:13.318 Meton says: Almost impaled himself on the thing.

3/25 21:31:49.975 Dayari says: Yes.

3/25 21:33:33.358 Solivar turns his gaze into the fire, his expression as neutral as he can make it, hands laced together in his lap.

3/25 21:33:43.771 Dayari says: So, did he go away?

3/25 21:34:28.724 Meton says: I had to escort the kid home, he was persistent. He managed to follow me into the barrens

3/25 21:35:15.716 Meton says: But not before he had to see something that he probably shouldn't have.

3/25 21:35:39.603 Meton says: Ran into an old enemy.

3/25 21:35:40.054 Dayari says: Hmm...his own fault, if he followed. Better to run home.

3/25 21:36:02.505 Meton says: A fellow Death Knight from the times of my time under Arthas.

3/25 21:36:21.203 Meton says: He was lucky enough not to break free from his grasp.

3/25 21:36:41.749 Solivar says: ...Few children are wise enough to realize that there are things beyond them. Particularly a --

3/25 21:36:47.565 Meton says: He wanted to be the one to kill me off, see if he could get some reward from his master.

3/25 21:37:37.686 Solivar says: His name?

3/25 21:38:28.825 Meton says: You know, I didn't bother to remember. Just another enemy to me.

3/25 21:39:00.453 Solivar nods, and lets out a ragged breath.

3/25 21:39:16.054 Dayari says: You could have written it down?

3/25 21:39:36.987 Meton says: He wasn't worth the memory.

3/25 21:40:16.541 Dayari says: Well, then, I wouldn't. I write things down worth remembering.

3/25 21:40:24.624 Dayari says: When I remember to write them down.

3/25 21:40:55.376 Solivar says: Dayari.

3/25 21:40:58.874 Meton says: So then I had to send a twice traumatized kid home.

3/25 21:41:15.430 Solivar says: Remember this name: Radiance.

3/25 21:41:22.014 Dayari says: Radiance?

3/25 21:41:55.555 Meton says: Okay...Radiance.

3/25 21:42:18.887 Meton says: I have some contacts in every city. As far as I hear, the kid has yet to speak since.

3/25 21:43:05.660 Solivar says: At least the child has has life. The rest will return to him in time. Youth has the advantage of resilience.

3/25 21:43:24.984 Dayari unfolds a cloth, already coated in smudged writing, and pens "Raidance" in an awkward script.

3/25 21:43:35.270 Dayari says: So, should I write any other names down?

3/25 21:44:21.991 Meton says: Who is Radiance?

3/25 21:44:33.753 Solivar says: No, just that one. If you see him...Well. Try to unsee him as swiftly as possible.

3/25 21:44:58.622 Dayari says: So, should I not remember his name?

3/25 21:45:39.624 Solivar says: No -- remember the name. He may not even trouble to conceal it. You saw his face already, Dayari, in the book we found in Winterspring.

3/25 21:46:01.062 Dayari says: Oh. I was supposed to look for the book, wasn't I?

3/25 21:46:34.726 Solivar says: Yes. But that can wait.

3/25 21:46:53.278 Dayari says: I did look though.

3/25 21:48:22.919 Solivar says: Radiance...was my brother. My brother in arms, my most...trusted...comrade when we both served the King.

3/25 21:48:40.708 Dayari says: Oh, I thought he was a child. Meton was talking about children.

3/25 21:49:13.428 Meton says: Is he still under control?

3/25 21:49:30.041 Solivar says: He...was held in reserve when the rest of our unit was deployed to Light's Hope, and was not among the fallen when we retook Acherus.

3/25 21:49:55.893 Meton says: I see...

3/25 21:50:15.046 Solivar says: Yes. And...unlike your old comrade, Meton...his intentions toward me are not...completely homicidal.

3/25 21:50:32.655 Solivar says: He wishes to take me back for....repairs.

3/25 21:50:37.329 Meton says: Well I'll leave dealing with him to you unless he decides to hinder my progress. I see...

3/25 21:51:04.615 Solivar cannot entirely suppress a full-body shudder.

3/25 21:51:27.318 Dayari says: We could stop him, I think. There are more of us than there is one of him.

3/25 21:52:10.716 Meton says: Solivar could probably stop him

3/25 21:52:41.400 Solivar says: 'We' might be able to. But he is not a fool. And also not above isolating one of the brotherhood to use as a weapon against me.

3/25 21:53:04.923 Meton says: Is he more powerful than you?

3/25 21:53:51.012 Solivar says: ....No. I can, and have, defeated him in physical combat.

3/25 21:54:35.081 Meton says: Then he shouldn't be a problem, unless you can't bring yourself to kill him.

3/25 21:54:49.602 Solivar says: But he also knows that I do not want to...end his existence, if the hope exists for his redemption. And it does.

3/25 21:55:15.631 Meton laughs a bit to himself.

3/25 21:55:27.035 Dayari says: Oh. But he doesn't want it?

3/25 21:55:58.162 Solivar says: ...No. But that does not mean that I will not beat the stubborn idiot senseless and drag him to Fordring.

3/25 21:56:28.528 Meton says: Redemption for us? There is no going back anymore, us Death Knights are all just killing machines but on different sides.

3/25 21:56:44.221 Dayari says: You can do other things, can't you?

3/25 21:57:07.005 Meton says: Yes but in the end, it's our only real purpose.

3/25 21:57:49.051 Solivar says: Our purpose is what we choose it to be, Meton. We need not be what *he* made us.

3/25 21:57:49.876 Dayari says: What about fishing? I see a lot of you Not-Scourge in Dalaran doing that.

3/25 21:58:29.361 Meton says: I wouldn't call fishing a purpose

3/25 21:58:43.474 Dayari says: Some people like fish.

3/25 21:58:45.250 Meton says: Then what do you think your purpose is Solivar?

3/25 22:00:04.590 Solivar says: ...That is one of the things I am yet searching for.

3/25 22:00:37.963 Dayari says: They're hard to find.

3/25 22:01:05.426 Solivar says: But I will tell you now what I *will not* be, and that is the echo of Arthas Menethil's evil.

3/25 22:01:31.263 Dayari says: That's the Lich King, right?

3/25 22:01:37.259 Meton says: Yes Dayari.

3/25 22:02:03.356 Dayari says: Alright. Probably best not to be like him then.

3/25 22:02:09.835 Meton says: This Radiance, did you know him before your time as a Death Knight?

3/25 22:03:54.852 Solivar says: ...Yes.

3/25 22:05:42.753 Solivar 's eyes close for a long moment, the flickering firelight and shadow making his face a mask.

3/25 22:06:02.900 Dayari says: I thought we talked about sleeping, Solivar?

3/25 22:06:21.515 Solivar says: I am not sleeping.

3/25 22:06:47.578 Solivar says: I am wishing I could remember what he looked like.

3/25 22:07:18.354 Dayari says: That's difficult. It's hard to write down what someone looks like.

3/25 22:07:31.004 Solivar smiles crookedly.

3/25 22:07:43.627 Solivar says: I usually draw it.

3/25 22:08:25.868 Dayari says: Oh, that would work.

3/25 22:08:59.491 Solivar says: But, yes, I knew him before, and if that is impairing my judgment, so be it.

3/25 22:10:04.932 Dayari says: People don't seem much different dead than they were alive. Except for the breathing.

3/25 22:10:32.991 Meton says: Yes, that tends to impair judgement.

3/25 22:12:08.019 Dayari says: So, dead person different from living person, Solivar?

3/25 22:13:13.991 Solivar says: ...Sometimes, yes. Radiance...is not the same as he once was in many ways...and, in some ways, nothing has changed at all.

3/25 22:14:31.206 Dayari says: Hmm...and stabbing him doesn't work?

3/25 22:15:00.002 Meton says: He doesn't want Radiance to meet his final death

3/25 22:15:22.863 Solivar says: He will no more turn his back on me than I would willingly abandon him. Otherwise? Stubborn, yes. Idiot, yes. Axe-crazed lunatic is new. The last time I stabbed him, we ended up both falling off a cliff into the Howling Straits.

3/25 22:15:37.063 Dayari says: Oh, that's probably not a good thing.

3/25 22:16:22.820 Dayari says: Hmm. You both got up again though?

3/25 22:17:08.253 Solivar says: I was not trying to *kill* him, only incapacitate him. We do tend to be...rather more durable than average.

3/25 22:17:26.648 Dayari says: Yes.

3/25 22:17:41.586 Dayari says: What would you do with an incapacitated...Radiance?

3/25 22:18:16.561 Solivar says: He was returning the favor....neither of us was paying attention to the precise location of the edge...The results were wet. And slimy.

3/25 22:18:39.596 Dayari says: Hmm...this person is not a brother?

3/25 22:19:39.102 Solivar says: He could be. Had I managed it...I would have taken him to Highlord Fordring and begged his help and done whatever he required to obtain it.

3/25 22:20:07.469 Meton says: How could Fordring undo the control?

3/25 22:20:10.902 Dayari says: Ahh.

3/25 22:20:53.816 Solivar says: And if therre was nothing that I could be done, then....Then I would have owed him a swift and painless release from his bondage.

3/25 22:21:15.435 Dayari says: Yes. I don't think it's good to be the Scourge. I wouldn't want to be.

3/25 22:21:17.826 Dayari says: Again.

3/25 22:21:38.893 Solivar says: How did Fordring undo it before? You were there, Meton -- he broke your shackles, he broke mine. Who is to say he could not do it again?

3/25 22:22:29.083 Meton says: He must be quite the Paladin to do so

3/25 22:22:48.182 Meton says: Maybe if he stepped upon holy ground he could manage it.

3/25 22:23:15.008 Dayari says: I don't think Scourge like that.

3/25 22:23:41.137 Solivar says: No. I am not particularly fond of it *now.*

3/25 22:24:58.599 Solivar says: I do not know if Highlord Fordring can do again what he accomplished at Light's Hope. Perhaps what happened there was the culmination of a lifetime spent in service to the Light, and we will never see its like again.

3/25 22:26:13.998 Solivar says: Perhaps we will. But in either case...I owe Radiance more than I can repay, and if there is a way to free him, I will seek it for him, whether he wants it or not.

3/25 22:26:29.860 Dayari says: Better to have less Scourge.

3/25 22:26:40.622 Solivar says: And then I will hit him repeatedly in the head with it until he submits.

3/25 22:27:32.514 Dayari says: That might work. But pieces sometimes come off.

3/25 22:28:05.112 Solivar shrugs slightly.

3/25 22:28:15.668 Dayari says: Oh.

3/25 22:28:21.044 Solivar says: True. At least he wears a helmet.

3/25 22:29:05.166 Dayari says: I think there's somewhere to go tonight.

3/25 22:29:28.736 Meton says: Where would that be?

3/25 22:29:39.955 Dayari says: Good question.

3/25 22:29:44.816 Dayari says: I don't think I wrote it down.

3/25 22:30:20.581 Solivar says: If you must go, brother, by all means.

3/25 22:30:48.488 Dayari says: I think I do. I'm not sure where though. Probably North. That's usually it.

3/25 22:31:02.953 Solivar says: I have been meaning to prowl about Zul'Gurub by night, which is actually why I am here.

3/25 22:31:07.004 Meton says: Seems to be that way.

3/25 22:31:10.966 Dayari says: More Trolls.

3/25 22:31:49.727 Dayari says: Well, North it is.

3/25 22:31:52.610 Dayari waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!

3/25 22:31:55.640 Solivar says: I should learn to speak Zandalari one of these days, yes. Go carefully brother.

3/25 22:31:57.321 Meton says: Goodbye

3/25 22:33:11.741 Solivar rises, gaze fixed on Meton.

3/25 22:34:00.514 Meton says: Yes?

3/25 22:34:18.023 Solivar says: Brother...do you truly believe there is nothing for you beyond your vengeance?

3/25 22:34:52.566 Meton says: It's what I am now, no denying it.

3/25 22:35:15.498 Meton says: I could no longer go back to the good things of my old life.

3/25 22:35:59.516 Meton says: I do wonder what my life would have been before the massacre of my town.

3/25 22:36:08.305 Meton says: If it never happened.

3/25 22:37:11.747 Solivar says: Perhaps not -- I know that I cannot. But that does not mean there is nothing left worth living for, worth striving for.

3/25 22:39:45.515 Meton says: I have nothing else besides this anymore.

3/25 22:40:25.172 Meton says: I'm really nothing more besides a sentient weapon these days. Speaking of which, I must be going.

3/25 22:40:52.172 Meton says: I've found another possible mole in Booty Bay, this one may have caused that plague a year or so ago.

3/25 22:40:52.801 Solivar says: We have all tasted the bitterness of the things we have lost, brother, but we need not let that define the rest of our existence. We...live. While that is true...there is at least the shadow of hope. Please think on it.

3/25 22:41:18.482 Solivar nods and bows deeply.

3/25 22:41:39.496 Meton says: Goodbye Solivar, good luck in the Troll lands.

3/25 22:41:51.542 Solivar says: And to you in your hunt. Go carefully.

3/25 22:41:55.802 Meton says: Will do.
