It's official! Next expansion comes with monks...and pandas. A whole new continent, level cap increased to 90, and something about a pet battle system? (Does this mean my felhunter gets to eat the spiders now?)

we've had space goats and washed up Twilight extras...why not Pandas? This might put a dent in the ever expanding Blood Elf population though so that's kinda nice :P.

I'm kind of curious why they were too cheap to cook up a nice rendered trailer this time, though. Didn't the previous three expansions all have them?

I'm still in the "Not sure if want" category here. I mean, I love the idea of a Monk class, and other things are intriguing. I guess I'll just need to see/read more about it to really get on board. I don't outright hate it, at least.

(And I hope there is a Pet Battle-related achievement called "It's Super Effective!" Which is about the entire extent of my Pokemon pop-culture knowledge.)

Ok... actually really excited about this.

I mean, Zentao was based on Monk'ish qualities. And when I first tried RP'ing with him, I tried to pull him off as Buddhist in nature, but the whole Shadow thing kept throwing me off and was too much of a contradiction. And since I leveled in shadow his whole foundation drifted from my actual desire for him. In fact, not knowing shit about healing when I rolled him, I chose Discipline because it sounded more martial than Holy.

I really wish they would allow a Class Change, Zen would become a Monk the day of the expansion
