re: Enclave: A Dhark view

Leía greets everyone with a hearty hello!
Jarrand says: Hello Ears and your friend.
Dharkoth says: greetings my friends
Leía greets everyone with a hearty hello!
Solivar says: Greetings. I trust all has been well since last we spoke?
Ghiddee sighs softly and pats the neck of her nervous raptor.
Dharkoth says: Has anyone heard why Baranthore want us to meet us here?
Leía says: no idea
Jarrand shrugs. Who knows?
Ghiddee raises a hand, the putrid rain hitting her gloved hand as she shakes her head in dismay, "And it's raining? Ugh."
Dharkoth says: he seemed to make it sound urgent
Jarrand says: Perhaps it is then.
Ghiddee turns her gaze upon Dharkoth "Who is Baranthore?"
Jarrand says: So you've made your friend visible now?
Leía says: that was a neat trick
Leía claps excitedly.
Dharkoth says: Branthore is one of our members
Ghiddee says: Oh right, that Steadfast thing of yours.
Ghiddee nods a bit as if in understanding.
Leía says: steadfast huh
Solivar inclines a questioning brow.
Dharkoth says: not just ours
Leía shrugs. Who knows?
Solivar says: Dare I ask where he might be?
Dharkoth says: it can be yours as well if you like
Leía says: ive my own problems
Dharkoth says: I am not sure I was told he would meet us outside of the walls
Jarrand says: There's much that's on the outside. A whole world, maybe even.
Ghiddee shudders as she looks around.
Ghiddee says: This land is so corrupt..
Leía says: i dare not stay any place too long
Leía says: they are still searching for me
Ghiddee says: Though I guess that sets well with you darker folks here.
Dharkoth says: why not?
Ghiddee frowns with disappointment at Infected Deer.
Dharkoth says: who could be looking for you Leia?
Leía looks around and listens quietly for the fimilar hoof beats
Leía says: bounty hunters
Leía says: sent by my old master
Dharkoth says: for what purpose?
Leía says: they have been looking for me for years
Leía says: to bring me back
Leía says: he's kinda pissed i ran away
Solivar says: If you are in danger, my lady, what protection we may offer is yours for the asking.
Dharkoth says: why?
Leía says: i refuse to spend the rest of my life as a slave
Dharkoth says: To be honest I do not think they would be stupid enough to come close
Jarrand says: So you've taken your freedom and someone wishes you to pay for it?
Leía says: and why is that?
Leía clearly states, NO.
Leía says: been his slave since i was 5
Dharkoth says: we would not stand for it
Leía says: for that im glad
Jarrand nods.
Leía says: two foresaken hunters
Leía says: have been looking, when you see them
Leía says: kill them
Jarrand says: We protect our own.
Dharkoth says: yes we do
Leía says: i heard one is currently in the scarlet monastry
Leía says: dont know where the other is
Jarrand hails Luckÿ.
You bow before Luckÿ.
Leía greets Luckÿ with a hearty hello!
Dharkoth says: greetings
Leía says: greetings druid
Solivar inclines his head in greetings.
Jarrand says: So, we're to find the Paladin?
Leía says: my old master is the lord in stratholme
Dharkoth says: Leia as i said do not fear while you are with us
Leía says: maybe we should teach him a lesson
Leía laughs.
Dharkoth says: I think we should at least look to see if we can see him
Leía says: ok
Jarrand agrees with you.
Leía says: lets find the paladin
Solivar says: Where in the Nether IS he?
Leía says: i cant see him
Leía hails Baranthore.
Jarrand says: The elements whisper to me no sign of him.
Baranthore peers over his mask, staring at the new comers.
Jarrand says: Ahh
You nod at Baranthore.
Dharkoth says: what was so urgent?
Baranthore says: The elements cannot see much more than is presented to them.. anymore...
Jarrand says: Apparently that was their way of telling me to use my own damn eyes...
A sly smirk spreads across Baranthore's face.
Solivar 's eyebrows twitch up a fraction.
Leía covers her face with her palm.
Baranthore says: The Crusade sits idle, they are stagnant, and weak. Tirion has lost his mind and does not act on the newly risen threats.
Baranthore says: I, and others, have left the service of the crusade. I came here... seeking peace of mind to find answers... and I had heard that Steadfast... has been looking for a home of its own... someplace... quiet.
Baranthore says: Death has destroyed this place, and there are no voices, no annoying children... and no doomsayers.
Dharkoth says: you know we have been looking for while
Baranthore says: Yes, and this may be something for you to look at.
Ghiddee says: I don't think I could sell this land to a blind guy..
Baranthore pats Ahearn, trying to calm her down.
Solivar glances sidelong at Dharkoth.
Baranthore stares down at Solivar.
Baranthore says: I can tell that, some, may not be all to comfortable here...
Dharkoth gives Solivar a curious look
Solivar says: The Blade elected to bypass Tyr's Hand.
Leía pats blaze gently, soothing the nervous beast
Jarrand says: But there is work to be done here, is there not?
Baranthore says: I do not speak of Tyr's Hand good friend...
Dharkoth says: this is a place of death is it not still?
Baranthore says: I speak of the enclave beyond.
Solivar says: ...Ah.
Jarrand has promoted Redrobinyumm to Associate.
Dharkoth says: really?
Baranthore nods.
Solivar 's face is still as a millpond.
Leía says: crazy horse!
Jarrand says: If I'm not mistaken, some still call beyond those walls their home.
Baranthore lets out a hearty chuckle.
Baranthore says: But where are they to claim it Shaman?
Solivar says: If the cauldron is still there, it will need to be neutralized.
Dharkoth says: Solivar what do you think? Does this place not hold bad memories for you?
Jarrand says: You speak of ownership. I own nothing, I merely ask for what I need.
Leía shivers again, in fear hearing her master calling too her" return my pet, kill them and return"
Leía shivers in her boots. Chilling!
Solivar says: If we avoided every place in this world that holds some ill memory for me, we would have to live on the bottom of the ocean.
A sly smirk spreads across Baranthore's face.
Baranthore says: Even then I am sure I could find or make a memory there for you, death knight.
Jarrand says: I think I can hear already the answer to the question, should we ask of the Scarlet Crusade.
Leía says: i dont like this place
Baranthore laughs at Jarrand.
Leía shivers in her boots. Chilling!
Baranthore says: If you want to ask, be my guest, but do not expect an answer in words, but rather in blood
Jarrand lets out a hearty chuckle.
Dharkoth says: then let us look at this place
Baranthore nods.
Ghiddee brushes a hand over her raptor's scales idly, zonging a bit as the group talks over wanting to occupy such a horrible place.
Baranthore says: I will meet you just past Tyr's Hand, at the eastern gate.
Dharkoth says: none shall touch us and live
Dharkoth says: shall we?
Leía paces nervously, growing ever restless, as the earge to flee becomes stronger
Jarrand nods at you.
Jarrand says: Lead the way Ears.
Leía clearly states, NO.
Dharkoth says: Leia
Leía says: i have to go
Solivar says: ...Lady. There is safety beyond these gates.
Leía says: i dont like this place
Dharkoth says: No you do not
Leía says: he's too close
Dharkoth says: but he is not here
Jarrand says: You have more than enough to keep you safe here.
Leía says: i suppose
Dharkoth says: we take care of our own
Leía says: i can still hear his voice in my head
Leía says: even blaze is afraid
Leía says: what is this place?
Jarrand says: Different.
Leía says: death
Ghiddee says: What's it look like?
Leía says: so much death
Ghiddee says: It's Scarlet.
Leía laughs.
Leía says: carnage
Leía says:
Leía says: pathetic
Baranthore shakes his head and looks somewhat confused.
Jarrand says: Feeling yourself?
Baranthore says: Hail Champions.
Baranthore looks at Jarrand with a confused look.
Dharkoth says: who are you?
Baranthore stares blankly at you.
Dharkoth says: Is this it?
Baranthore says: This is the enclave... it may be in a... sad... state... but yes, this may be your best option.
Jarrand says: Ruins?
Baranthore says: There are many key structures here that may be run down, but can still serve their purpose.
Dharkoth says: Solivar what do you think ?
Baranthore says: There is an Inn, a Blacksmith, a Hall, and Chapel and farmstead, the ruins of the keep are still usable, there is also a harbor and a watch tower as well as a light house.
Dharkoth says: the towers look intake
Jarrand says: Bodily, perhaps. Things have a habit of lingering.
Luckÿ points over yonder.
Solivar says: No. He is not here in spirit, either.
Dharkoth says: who?
Solivar runs a hand over the fountain's crumbling stonework.
Dharkoth places a hand on Solivars shoulder, "are you alright my friend?"
Solivar says: ...Baranthore is correct in many ways. This place is...not without its possibilities. The druids of the Cenarion Circle have learned how to quench the plague-cauldrons...the land can be healed.
Baranthore says: Why heal it...
Baranthore says: Is it not beautiful Solivar...
Baranthore says: Witness here what you, and all beings are capable of.
Baranthore says: It is a testiment to your strength... Why try to fix... what isn't broken?
Dharkoth says: "what is wrong with you? Look at this place
Solivar says: Because to do so would be an abomination, and one that would sicken and weaken the living.
Baranthore spits on the ground.
Baranthore says: I have seen what you and your kind do Solivar... and there is nothing different between you and the Horde... or the Alliance...
Baranthore says: You all kill...
Baranthore says: And destroy...
Solivar turns an ice-cold glare on Baranthore.
Baranthore says: It is your nature...
Jarrand says: What do you think, Ears?
Dharkoth looks at Jarrand with a question look then says: Think about what?
Baranthore says: Why try to change what we are...
Baranthore mumbles to himself... "monsters."
Baranthore says: You've killed many, my daughter even... but there needs to be no killing anymore.... This place is yours if you claim it...
Baranthore says: Uncontested.... uncontrolled...
Jarrand says: And we just take it?
Baranthore nods at Jarrand.
Baranthore says: Who is there to stop you after all?
Baranthore glances up towards Acherus.
Baranthore says: Clearly they have no interest...
Solivar 's icy impassivity falters for an instant, a flicker of pain crossing his face, smoothed quickly away.
Jarrand gestures to the piles of skulls.
Jarrand says: Spirits persist. Surely there are places more quiet than here?
Baranthore looks towards the skulls...
Baranthore says: Good luck with that Shaman...
Solivar says: I am sorry for the loss of your daughter, Baranthore.
Baranthore says: What you find on your own will surely be devoured by the war machines of the two great factions...
Baranthore glares angrily at Solivar.
Baranthore says: Save it.
Baranthore says: I don't need your pitty.
Jarrand says: This place looks already eaten.
Luckÿ says: I agree with the paladin on that one thing. No place is quieter than here, but this place is...almost too quiet.
Baranthore says: Then bring life to it. You have, no doubt, a large force at your command...
Baranthore says: Once present... I am sure it would hardly seem... dead...
Jarrand says: As much as you.
Baranthore grins wickedly at Jarrand.
Solivar says: It is...quiet now. But as Baranthore says...it can be given new life.
Baranthore kneels down and picks up a skull. "Poor Yorik....". Baranthore dumps the skull back into the pile.
Baranthore says: Yes, that is right Death Knight.
Leía says: where did they go
Baranthore shivers somewhat, feeling a strange presence.
Leía says: i remember there being a druid and goblin
Dharkoth says: Baranthore we sill do not know for sure that your daughter is gone
Baranthore glares angrily at you.
Dharkoth says: do not look at me that way
Baranthore says: I will look however I wish.
Dharkoth says: She was trying to break me and did many things. I have no proof that what she showed me was really her
Baranthore seems to fume wiwth anger.
Dharkoth says: yes, you will weak and pathetic and troubled is all
Leía starts walking away, as if some invisible force is pulling her
Baranthore stares around at the different figures..
Jarrand says: This place remains troubled.
Ghiddee says: Very.
Dharkoth says: Jarrand can you see to her please
Baranthore says: It seems you brought the trouble with you..
Leía cries.
Leía shivers in her boots. Chilling!
Dharkoth says: would you stop that
Leía says: i have to leave
Dharkoth says: you are your own worse enemy
Leía says: the longer i stay the stronger he gets
Dharkoth says: why?
Leía says: you saw what he did
Dharkoth says: that is because you allow it
Leía says: tell me how to stop this
Leía says: my head hurts so much
Leía says: please
Dharkoth says: you are stronger than this
Dharkoth says: you are a WARLOCK!
Leía nods in agreement with dharkoth as a single tear slides down her face
Leía says: i will try
Dharkoth says: we control what we want
Leía says: thank you for snaping me out of it
Dharkoth says: we control our minion thru sure power of our mind
Dharkoth says: you have control not HIM
Leía cries.
Dharkoth says: STOP THAT!
Leía says: im not sure anymore
Leía says: but i will try
Baranthore says: Any reason you keep those?
Ghiddee snatches up some of the dirt that was being drilled from the ground with her totem and brings it to her nose, sniffing it.
Ghiddee says: It's as if there is little earth left here.
Leía says: fire
Luckÿ says: Spoils of war, even some paladins here...
Leía says: i like fire
Baranthore grins wickedly at Luckÿ.
Leía lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Baranthore says: Maybe one day when you are old enough to even drink.. perhaps I will get the chance to rip those from your neck and wear them as my own.
Jarrand says: Earth without earth, a sign clearer than the mud we step in.
Dharkoth says: What is the ground here like?
Megahurtz has come online.
Ghiddee says: If this ground is not of earth..
Ghiddee says: I'm afraid of what it is.
Leía tired from the headache, rests her head on her knees, trying to will the pain away
Luckÿ says: You can certainly try...
Jarrand says: You can stand on it, Ears. But I think not much else.
Leía says: can you tell me, what silvermoon is like
Leía says: ive never known my own people
Baranthore looks closely at Leia.
Leía says: or at least im told they are
Solivar says: A verdict?
Jarrand says: It was cast long before we arrived.
Dharkoth says: nothing can grown here is what you are saying?
Ghiddee nods at Jarrand.
Leía looks up painfully at baranthore, before placing her head back on her knees
Baranthore says: [Thalassian] Al osa diel shari mush fal shari'fal fulo alah talah fal anu diel tal dath nor osa Thus thus aman fal diel osa
Baranthore says: [Thalassian] O fal fal do aman thus belore al fal anu alah dath fulo ishnu osa ash al shar thus al fandu'talah
Solivar rolls the mostly-melted stub of a candle between his hands, eyes shuttered, face unnaturally expressionless, even for him.
Dharkoth says: something must, for there is grass and weeds
Leía says: [Thalassian] o anar su mush'al no dor diel
Leía says: [Thalassian] diel eraburis dath'anar
Jarrand says: I'd not call this the bloom of life.
Ghiddee says: Mushrooms grow on.. well...
Baranthore says: The Third War took much from us....
Ghiddee says: Ahem.
Leía says: [Thalassian] tal mush osa fal rini ni shar su asto're shari'adune
Baranthore says: Deatholme is not any greener than it was when you saw it before...
Dharkoth says: but is can grow if nutured?
Baranthore says: Lay down then, I will try.
Leía says: [Thalassian] ni
Leía lies down.
Baranthore says: You may feel warm. But do not turn away from it.
Ghiddee says: I am not certain that these weeds and grass are a sign of life or a sign of parasite.
Baranthore flips through a libram, skipping to a chapter marked with strange symbols.
Dharkoth says: Lucky what does the rest of this place look like from the air?
Luckÿ says: I don't like it, too many fronts to protect against, easily outflanked from a cave to the North...
Leía says: [Thalassian] o mush diel
Leía says: [Thalassian] al balah thus
Baranthore thinks and looks back to his Libram.
Dharkoth says: what about the hall over there. You point over yonder.
Leía smiles as the pain in her boday and mind leaves
Ghiddee says: It's empty.
Jarrand says: It does have a wall.
Baranthore says: There.
Leía says: [Thalassian] balah osa
Baranthore says: I cannot say how long it will last.
Leía says: [Thalassian] o mush ri aman u'phol
Solivar says: Anything attempting to pass through the tunnel would first have to traverse the poisoned glade...and then avoid Acherus' eyes.
Dharkoth says: the walls seems to be intake
Jarrand says: So here the poison is in a bottle.
Leía says: come
Leía says: i feel better now
Baranthore mumbles something about seeing Goody Solivar with the Devil.
Dharkoth says: Ghiddee could you do something witth entry way?
Ghiddee says: What ya mean?
Dharkoth says: this entry
Ghiddee says: What do ya mean do somethin' with it?
Dharkoth says: well the usually thing as in a gate, but anything else you and your tinkering can do?
Ghiddee says: You payin'?
Dharkoth says: if I must. You grin wickedly.
Ghiddee says: Heh, I ain't free labor.
Ghiddee says: But sure, I'll put up a gate at least.
Dharkoth says: this I know remember
Dharkoth says: I was thikning of a bit more
Ghiddee says: Ya never seen a goblin gate, I suppose.
Dharkoth says: Lucky what do you think of this building?
Luckÿ says: Disgusting.
Dharkoth says: in what way?
Dharkoth says: well to be honest Ghidde I have not
Luckÿ says: Floors are peeling up, mold on the ceiling, even reeks of decomp.
Dharkoth says: but is it salvagable?
Luckÿ says: Hard to say...
Leía says: are you ok
Leía looks sadly at dharkoth, knowing he is upset with her
Ghiddee says: Ugh. Blood Elves.. Ghiddee frowns.
Dharkoth says: what?
Ghiddee says: Meh. Nothing..
Dharkoth says: I am going to have to shake that girl it seems
Luckÿ says: Watch your back for the paladin...
Luckÿ says: I still think something is fishy with him
Dharkoth says: he is twisted this I know
Dharkoth says: he let the death of his daughter effect him, for he could not protect her as he promised, even though the child still lives
Luckÿ says: Did he join the Crusade before or after that?
Dharkoth says: after he thought he could hide from it
Luckÿ says: You can't hide from death, I know that well...
Luckÿ says: ...and he's stupid for thinking he could as well.
Leía laughs.
Luckÿ says: Anyway, enough of my bickering, i'm going to scount around once more...
Dharkoth says: what?
Leía looks at everyone talking and decides not to intrupt them
Leía says: sorry
Leía says: just getting some air
Dharkoth says: there is nothing to be sorry for. where do you think you are going? Leia STOP! this is why you are weak
Leía says: weak?
Dharkoth says: yes
Leía says: i was just cold
Leía laughs.
Dharkoth says: you isolate yourself
Leía says: don't you know
Leía says: most warlocks are crazy
Dharkoth says: that is a a lie
Leía laughs.
Leía says: nice
Dharkoth says: you laugh once more and I will stop that laughter
Leía says: woah, im sorry
Dharkoth says: you are not trying. you wander off alone. you push everything away
Leía says: im just not use to convering with people
Dharkoth says: you think being alone will stop your pain?
Leía says: no, i want him dead!
Dharkoth says: we all want someone dead
Leía says: the spell will be broken and i'll be free when he dies
Leía says: thats what i want
Dharkoth says: you think so?
Leía says: yes
Dharkoth says: why?
Leía says: when his life ends the spell will end
Leía pulls a tome from her pack and hands it to dharkoth
Leía says: its the marked page
Dharkoth looks at the page
Leía says: shaixne gave it to me, before he died
Dharkoth says: so you think that since he is dead the spell will just stop tell me why? magic does not always work that way
Leía says: the spell of serveatud can only be broken once the caster's life is ended and the body purified thats what i need the paladin for
Ghiddee barks at you.
Ghiddee says: Dhar you gotta come with me.
Leía says: keep the tome if you like
Dharkoth says: what Ghiddee?
Ghiddee bites on his cape and tugs it.
Leía says: ive read it 10 times already
Leía looks at the strange wolf and shrugs
Leía shrugs. Who knows?
Dharkoth says: come be with us not always isolating yourself. it seems I have something to deal with
Ghiddee says: Come on!
Leía says: as you wish
Ghiddee says: No pokin' around.
Dharkoth says: what?
Ghiddee says: This is rot.
Luckÿ says: Here...
Ghiddee says: Not land.
Ghiddee says: And these.
Dharkoth says: yes this is the Harvestors pot
Ghiddee says: It is still tainting the land
Luckÿ says: But these...things. They are pulsating as if growing something on the inside...
Ghiddee agrees with Luckÿ.
Dharkoth says: these were his
Leía says: what in the name of light are these things!
Dharkoth says: the pods carried his blight
Ghiddee says: Well this field is still producing crops of it to be harvested.
Dharkoth says: but there are none here to harvest it
Ghiddee says: Yet.
Luckÿ says: ...and who told you that? The paladin?
Leía smiles at flare, and pats the gently steed
Dharkoth says: this part of the land will need destroyed and then blessed. no someone very close to me who knows this place
Ghiddee feels light-headed and lies down.
Dharkoth says: Fire shall ravage this land allowing the new to come forth
Jarrand says: I fear we must go.
Dharkoth says: what now?
Leía says: whats up
Jarrand glances at the cauldron.
Jarrand says: We are not hear at the behest of the voices of our own.
Dharkoth says: do not speak to me in riddles
Jarrand says: The Paladin is tainted as this land.
Leía says: baranthore!
Jarrand says: The Death Knight occupies him, while we must flee.
Luckÿ says: ...I hate to say I told you so...
Jarrand watches the warlock gallop into the distance.
Ghiddee lies down.
Jarrand says: He asked me to get us far from this place.
Dharkoth says: damn
Luckÿ says: Oh great, now who is going to get her...
Dharkoth says: where are they?
Jarrand says: There is a chapel within.
Dharkoth says: Lucky follow her from the air
Luckÿ says: NO! You took him to the chapel!?
Jarrand says: My people learned the hard way what it is to accept on faith gifts too good to be true.
Jarrand says: The Death Knight followed him there.
Luckÿ says: Will do. But that Chapel is the worst place to have taken him...
Dharkoth says: let's go quickly all of us
Jarrand says: He wished to show proof of his righteousness.
Ghiddee winces.
Leía looks fearfully at baranthore as her minion growls at him
Leía says: baranthore please
Leía says: come back to us
Dharkoth says: so what have you done now Baranthore?
Baranthore motions for Solivar to step in.
Leía kneels down.
Baranthore says: I have done nothing.
Leía hangs her head dejectedly.
Baranthore says: Sate your tongues lust for mindlessness and step away.
Dharkoth says: that is not what I am hearing from the others
Leía slaps Baranthore across the face. Ouch!
Dharkoth says: step away from you?
Leía smacks Baranthore upside the head.
Baranthore says: Go on Solivar..
Dharkoth says: Leia stop that
Baranthore says: Prove me wrong.
Baranthore says: The Light calls to you.
Dharkoth says: prove me wrong what?
Baranthore shivers in his boots. Chilling!
Solivar steps across the threshold, struggling to hold his face still.
Dharkoth says: well what have we here? so tell me Baranthore how long have you been seeing your guilt?
Baranthore says: I have no guilt
Dharkoth says: you have NO guilt?
Baranthore says: Be silent fool, Solivar must now face the Light. You would do well not to interfere.
Dharkoth says: you are the one who need that. you are the one covered in guilt
Leía pleads with her eyes for baranthore to snap out of it
Dharkoth says: YOU are the one tainted by its touch
Solivar rests a hand on Dharkoth's shoulder.
Baranthore pushes Dharkoth back out of the way.
Luckÿ says: He is going no where.
Baranthore looks towards the bear.
Baranthore says: Step aside.
Leía eyes widen in fear as she reconizes that voice
Luckÿ says: Never.
Leía says: NO!
Solivar says: What do you want of me, Baranthore?
Dharkoth says: tell me Baranthore you say you have no guilt, yet we all seen your shade
Leía says: no it cant be
Baranthore says: Face what you have neglected since the day you died.
Leía begs Baranthore. How pathetic.
Leía cowers in fear at the sight of Baranthore.
Baranthore says: Solivar, you think me mad, but you have not heard what it sings to me.
Dharkoth says: tell me Baranthore do you not set in the dark and blame yourself for what happened to your daughter?
Baranthore ignores Dharkoth and glares into Solivar's eyes.
Dharkoth says: YOU promised me to protect her
Solivar says: To hear me say aloud that I know the Light I once served despises me now? I know it. I know there is no forgiveness for me in this world or beyond it.
Dharkoth says: on YOUR life
Baranthore says: Pray Solivar, there is forgiveness.
Baranthore says: Know what I hear, and know why I will not kill those below in Tyr's Hand
Leía kneels before Baranthore.
Dharkoth says: where is your promise now Knight of the Light?
Solivar says: Just as I know what you hear now is nothing sacred or holy.
Baranthore says: Pray Solivar.
Dharkoth says: Solivar it is time you and other left this place
Dharkoth says: go
Leía clutches her head, as the pain returns ten fold, tears falling from her eyes
Dharkoth says: the so called Knight of Light and I have unfinished business
Solivar says: ...No.
Dharkoth says: YES!
Leía cowers in fear at the sight of Baranthore.
Dharkoth says: he owes me his life
Dharkoth says: tell me Baranthore do you even remember that day?
Baranthore focuses on Solivar.
Dharkoth says: Do we remember the blood oath you gave me?
Baranthore says: Pray Solivar.
Luckÿ says: He is never going to listen...his mind is elsewhere.
Solivar 's voice lowers to a near-growl, his gaze never leaving Baranthore. "Dharkoth...It is not...him. Not his fault."
Baranthore pushes Dharkoth backwards again.
Dharkoth says: What did I say to you?
Baranthore says: Pray Solivar.
Dharkoth says: it is his fault HE left the child
Leía 's eyes glaze over and she walks and kneels before the podium
Baranthore says: Move, Tauren.. this is not your place.
Dharkoth says: The child he swore to protect and HE left her
Leía kneels down.
Luckÿ says: Only way I shall move is if you make me, Paladin!
Solivar says: ...I gave him my word that I would save her. ::wearily:: Peace, brother druid.
Dharkoth says: tell me little knight of light where are your vowes?
Leía starts mumbling "where were you, you promised me, f....a...t..h"
Luckÿ says: You say peace to me? but not the paladin? He is clearly turning you against us!
Solivar says: I stood in a place like this once...and I spoke the words...
Luckÿ says: Snap out of Solivar!
Dharkoth says: no he is twisted inside
Dharkoth says: Solivar step back
Baranthore says: Pray, Solivar
Luckÿ says: What in the...?
Baranthore pushes Dharkoth out of the way.
Dharkoth says: Solivar I said to get out and I mean now!
Leía says: mother im sorry
Leía lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Baranthore places a hand on Solviar's shoulder.
Baranthore says: Pray, dear brother.
Solivar says: I swore by the grace of the Light that I would spread its wisdom.
Dharkoth shoves Baranthore back
Luckÿ says: I have but once choice here...I hate to be pushed this far...
Luckÿ says: But I do believe there is no other way...
Dharkoth says: SOlivar this is your last warning
Baranthore shields himself.
Dharkoth says: leave this place now or you will be removed
Baranthore says: Step aside, wretch. This is not your place.
Leía rises and glares at everyone evilly before screaming MAKE...IT....STOP, and runs out of the chapel
Solivar says: I swore by my blood and my honor that I would vanguish evil wherever it was found.
Dharkoth says: and it is not yours guilty blood oath breaker
Luckÿ says: Jarrand come please...
Baranthore says: Solivar, Pray.
Baranthore says: It calls you back.
Jarrand looks about
Luckÿ says: Maybe you can talk some sense into these two...
Dharkoth says: you call nothing
Jarrand says: Ransacked.
Solivar says: And that I would protect the innocent...with my very life.
Dharkoth says: you broke the blood oath given to me this place is not yours
Dharkoth says: you do not deserve to be here
Dharkoth says: you do not deserve to be a knight
Baranthore turns cooly to the warlock.
Luckÿ says: That damn girl has run off again...I will go and find her, now that help is hopefully here.
Baranthore says: I broke no oath before you broke my daughter.
Baranthore says: Step aside before you also lose what you cherish.
Ghiddee places her totems to help keep any other evils out of the area.
Dharkoth says: YOU BROKE YOUR OATH TO ME WHEN I GAVE HER TO YOU! YOUSWORE A BLOOD OATH TO PROTECT HER. YOU FAILED!
Baranthore dismisses Dharkoth with a hand gesture.
Baranthore says: It is time Solivar.
Dharkoth says: Jarrand remove Solivar how ever you have to
Solivar wavers on his feet, covering his face with his hands, eyes pressed tightly closed.
Dharkoth says: Baranthore you worthless wretched of a so called father you wish to give orders to another yet you can not even keep your word why should anyone listen to you?
Jarrand says: Enough. You have badgered and clawed at each other, not a hint of brotherhood I've seen from you especially, Paladin.
Baranthore looks onto Solivar.
Ghiddee kneels down.
Solivar says: ...What *are* you?
Baranthore says: I am an embodiement of the Light.
Ghiddee places her hand on the ground, feeling the restlessness of angered spirits.
Baranthore says: An arm of the faith that guides us.
Dharkoth says: Solivar he is an oath breaker
Baranthore says: A hand of A'dal.
Baranthore says: A guardian of those without.
Dharkoth says: he is twisted by the guilt of what he has done that is all he is
Baranthore says: I am holy, on every path, and in mind.
Dharkoth laughs" You HOLY!
Baranthore says: Will you not pray with me now?
Baranthore kneels down.
Jarrand says: Paladin, there are better places to pray.
Jarrand says: If you look to the light, look for it where it can be found.
Solivar kneels, almost against his will.
Solivar kneels down.
Baranthore prays and his hands begin to glow with a white light.
Dharkoth says: get up Solivar
Baranthore smiles as a holy light fills the room.
Baranthore says: How does it feel Solivar?
Solivar says: Baranthore, whatever calls to you here, I swear to you, *it cannot be the* --
Baranthore extends his hand to Solivar, offering him to stand.
Solivar recoils, his face a mask of sick pain.
Dharkoth says: Solivar do not let his twisted thoughts influence you
Dharkoth says: it is his guilt that pushes him
Jarrand says: Spirits of the Earth, I ask you to ground our friends. Bind them once again to reality, instead of the airy nonsense that blows them astray.
Baranthore places a hand on Solivar's shoulder.
Baranthore says: Brother.
Solivar says: *Stop.*
Leía closes her eyes as the light warms her, but somehow it feels familur
Baranthore grumbles.
Leía says: whats going on?
Dharkoth says: Solivar I said to leave this place. Why are you still here?
Leía says: i know that feeling, or at least i think i do?
Jarrand says: Trouble, to say the least.
Luckÿ says: Stay.
Leía says: im afraid
Luckÿ says: It can't harm you.
Solivar leans heavily on the nearest piece of intact furniture, shuddering not quite hard enough to shake away Baranthore's hand.
Leía says: did i tell you, mom looks like me
Baranthore uneased, and somewhat agitated, withdraws his hand.
Leía hands the druid an old picture
Luckÿ says: YOu mean you look like her...
Leía says: im sorry you cant see my dad, its kinda smuged
Leía says: it got burn't during the fire
Leía says: and yeah i guess your right
Solivar says: ...Baranthore...I have never doubted you, truly I have not, until this moment.
Baranthore frowns.
Ghiddee tilts her head.
Baranthore moves to stand before Solivar, face to face.
Ghiddee says: If you all fear what's happened is so, why do you stick around?
Baranthore grabs up his sword and plunges it into Solivar's gut, but the blade disappears from his hand, fading into tiny shards.
Baranthore says: Purity is righteousness, that which you sought. Your mind can be at ease once again.
Jarrand says: One drop of poison in a lake spreads.
Leía sits heavly on the ground as flashes of memorys play before her eye, a smiling face, green eyes, a flash of blonde hair and a loving voice
Solivar says: ...
Leía says: what does it mean
Ghiddee says: We need to leave.
Luckÿ says: Dharkoth.
Leía shivers in her boots. Chilling!
Luckÿ says: I need to speak with you, privately.
Jarrand agrees with Ghiddee.
Baranthore looks at the etheral wound in Solivar's gut, clearly it wont kill him, but perhaps it was haunted.
Ghiddee says: Jarrand
Baranthore nods to an unseen presence.
Ghiddee says: We must do something to snap them from their stupor.
Leía zones out trying to make sense of the strange memories
Jarrand agrees with Ghiddee.
Dharkoth says: Jarrand keep an eye on them. if he keeps this up put him to sleep or something
Luckÿ says: I may know the answer to that exact problem. But before I even say anything. Dharkoth your presence please.
Luckÿ says: Follow me please.
Luckÿ says: I didn't want to stir up an already mad hornets nest.
Luckÿ says: But you said earlier, Baranthore lost his daughter...
Luckÿ says: I'm not positive, but I believe she is still alive.
Luckÿ points at Leía.
Dharkoth says: No she is not his daughter
Luckÿ says: How can you be sure?
Dharkoth says: I am the one who gave the child to him
Dharkoth says: she was a survivor
Luckÿ says: I just don't know...
Dharkoth says: he allowed these children to die and the child I brought out of there was the only one to survive
Dharkoth says: Leia is too old. The child was only 7
Luckÿ says: She was 7...
Ghiddee 's air totem helps keep the air pure around the chapel.
Ghiddee says: No more dilly dallying!
Dharkoth says: yes they were using the children as focus for a spell
Ghiddee says: GET OUT HERE.
Luckÿ says: There goes that damn paladin again...
Ghiddee says: We are leaving.
Ghiddee says: Mount up.
Solivar says: Yes.
Dharkoth says: Next time you will listen to me when I tell you to leave Solivar
Jarrand says: Indeed. Nothing good has come from our meeting and I doubt we shall redeem it.
Solivar nods wordlessly, his eyes wide and almost unseeing.
Ghiddee 's raptor huffs impatiently at the rest, sensing his master's urgency to flee.
Leía says: he is still there
Leía says:
Ghiddee says: Dhakoth, mount up We are taking our leave.
Baranthore waves happily.
Jarrand says: Ears, come.
Baranthore says: Come again!
Jarrand opens his mouth as if to talk, but shuts it without saying a word.
Baranthore says: You're always welcome at the Chapel of Eternal Happieness
Baranthore grins wickedly.
Leía continues to stare at baranthore ignoring the others
Leía says: yes sir dharkoth
Dharkoth says: Leia mount up we are leave NOW!
Leía says: why?
Dharkoth says: this place holds nothing for us
Leía says: what about me?
Luckÿ says: Maybe if you ask her nicely...
Leía says: i know that voice
Dharkoth says: this place holds nothing for US
Ghiddee says: Is this elf what is keeping us?
Dharkoth says: We are leaving now
Dharkoth says: Leia I said we are leaving
Leía says: sigh guess i have no choice
Leía says: can i ask you
Leía says: what did the druid say
Dharkoth says: we are leaving
Leía says: very well
Leía says: as you wish, lead on
Dharkoth says: this place holds nothing for us here
Jarrand agrees with you.
Dharkoth says: The knight is twisted with guilt and it has changed much
Leía says: if you say so, i still wish i could make sense of these memories
Jarrand says: You think it only guilt?
Ghiddee glares at the blood elf.
Dharkoth says: that is the maybe part of it
Leía looks around, wondering if the warlock is refuring to her
Dharkoth says: there is something else in him
Jarrand says: But what?
Leía says: druid can you show the picture to baranthore
Leía says: i just have this feeling that maybe it will help
Luckÿ hands the photo over to the paladin.
Leía thanks Luckÿ.
Dharkoth says: I do not know. He listens to someone as I did, but what and why I know not
Leía looks up at baranthore, and asks him to look at the picture
Jarrand says: So he's picked up a companion of sorts...
Leía says: where did he go
Ghiddee says: You all are fools for staying here.
Ghiddee says: This land doesn't welcome any of us.
Dharkoth says: I do not know, but I do not think he had a choice in it
Leía glares angrily at Ghiddee.
Ghiddee says: Dharkoth you don't pay me well enough for this.
Dharkoth says: none of us are
Dharkoth says: I am sorry Ghiddee
Leía stomps her foot in anger, glaring at the goblin
Dharkoth says: no it does not
Ghiddee says: I am heading back to Tirisfal and the Undercity, I would advise you all to do the same.
Dharkoth says: agreed
Jarrand says: I can think of many improvements to our current place.
Dharkoth says: I am heading to Brill
Dharkoth says: or a place where I can get a drink
Leía says: i wish to find out where the paladin has gone
Ghiddee says: Brill doesn't have a bar anymore.
Dharkoth says: not tonite
Jarrand says: I go back to Orgimmar. A place more sensible than this forsaken land.
Luckÿ says: I must return to the frontlines...the war horns are calling...
Ghiddee says: Dharkoth.
Ghiddee says: Let us travel to Silvermoon.
Ghiddee says: We can get you a drink there.
Luckÿ says: Farewell my new friends, until we meet again.
Leía says: i guess i'll go visit shaixne and lillian
Dharkoth says: Lucky?
Ghiddee nods at Luckÿ.
Jarrand waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
Luckÿ says: Yes?
Leía says: their graves that is
Dharkoth says: when you have time we must talk not tonite for much has taken place, but when we are both fresh
Luckÿ says: I shall look foward to it
You nod.
Leía says: until our next meeting, fare thee well
Luckÿ waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
Dharkoth says: Leia remember what I told you
Leía says: im going to try and make sense of these memories
Leía waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
Dharkoth says: let's go

re: Enclave: Solivar's View

[The Scene: The gorse-covered hills near the Undercity flight towers, where Jarrand Windspeaker, Solivar, and Leia are waiting to hear from Dharkoth.]

Jarrand hails you.

Leía says: i came looking for him
Leía greets you with a hearty hello!

Solivar inclines his head in greeting.

Jarrand says: Dharkoth usually shows up when he's ready to be found. Or just about ready to be.
Jarrand lets out a hearty chuckle.

Leía says:
Leía says: sounds like him

Solivar regards Jarrand for a moment, his brows knitting slightly.

Jarrand says: Death Knight?

Leía says: im sorry you ended up that way brother
Leía says: i wish i could have changed things
Leía says: hmmm

Solivar says: Wind-speaker, there are some questions I would ask you, when it is convenient.

Jarrand says: I hope I've got some answers.
Jarrand says: Seems we're to wait tonight.
Jarrand says: Or stare out over the trees.
Jarrand says: Either has its place.

Solivar says: I also hope that I will not offend -- I am not as well-versed in the culture of your people as I could be, and I fear that most of the books on the topic in Dalaran do not possess a particularly...unbiased nature.

Jarrand says: Different times.

Solivar smiles wryly.

Jarrand says: But, we can't fault the calm stream for the roaring rapids that lie upstream of it.

Solivar says: True.
Solivar flicks a glance over the hills, in the direction of the Bulwark.

Jarrand says: That way, yes?

Solivar says: The lands west of here...They have begun healing, if not entirely purified...and it is my understanding that both the gifts of druids and shaman were involved...Do you know how it was done?

Jarrand says: With effort and care. I found myself on the shores of Kalimdor after the world cried out.
Jarrand says: So, I know less of the work that was done here.

Solivar nods slightly and bows from the neck.

Jarrand says: But the land there heals, I can hear it. The elements mutter, but do not sob.

Solivar says: He calls. Windspeaker...he is not as he was. I do not know entirely what happened to him...but he is not as he was.

Jarrand says: You mean Ears?

Solivar says: Yes.

[Leia, Jarrand, and Solivar fly from the flight towers to the road just outside Tyr’s Hand, in the Eastern Plaguelands, where they find Dharkoth and Ghiddee, his companion and a goblin shaman, awaiting them.]

[A ghostly image of Dharkoth appears briefly, flickering in the rain.]

[The group is joined by the druid arriving in his avian form.]

Jarrand hails Luckÿ.

Dharkoth bows before Luckÿ.

Jarrand agrees with Dharkoth.

Leía says: lets find the paladin

Solivar says: Where in the Nether IS he?

Leía says: i cant see him

[Baranthore melts out of the rusty haze of fog and falling rain.]

Leía hails Baranthore.

Jarrand says: The elements whisper to me no sign of him.

Baranthore peers over his mask, staring at the new comers.

Jarrand says: Ahh

Dharkoth nods at Baranthore.

Leía shivers again, in fear hearing her master calling to her" return my pet, kill them and return"

Jarrand nods at Dharkoth.
Jarrand says: Lead the way Ears.

Leía clearly states, NO.

Dharkoth says: Leia

Leía says: i have to go

Solivar says: ...Lady. There is safety beyond these gates.

Leía says: i dont like this place

Dharkoth says: No you do not

Leía says: he's too close

Dharkoth says: but he is not here

Jarrand says: You have more than enough to keep you safe here.

Leía says: i suppose

Dharkoth says: we take care of our own

Leía says: i can still hear his voice in my head

[The group makes its way around Tyr's Hand and into the ruins of the Scarlet Enclave beyond.]

Baranthore waves at Ghiddee.
Baranthore shakes his head and looks somewhat confused.

Jarrand says: Feeling yourself?

Baranthore says: Hail Champions.
Baranthore looks at Jarrand with a confused look.

Dharkoth says: who are you?

Baranthore stares blankly at Dharkoth.

Solivar sighs softly.

Ghiddee says: What do you need a town for?
Ghiddee says: Who's gonna be mayor?

Jarrand lets out a hearty chuckle.
Jarrand says: Who are we to say the Mayor's left.

Baranthore says: With the number of champions Steadfast calls to its ranks, you would need nothing short of a full town.

Ghiddee says: I bet a lot of them are still here.
Jarrand inspects the banner.

Solivar says: Actually, the mayor *has* left.

Baranthore chuckles at you.

Luckÿ says: I see a fire in that near house, maybe there is still someone here...

Jarrand says: Bodily, perhaps. Things have a habit of lingering.

Baranthore glares angrily at you.
Baranthore says: Save it.
Baranthore says: I don't need your pity.

[A ghostly, translucent image flickers into view and fades again.]

Leía says: i remember there being a druid and goblin

Dharkoth says: Baranthore we sill do not know for sure that your daughter is gone

Baranthore glares angrily at Dharkoth.

Dharkoth says: do not look at me that way

Baranthore says: I will look however I wish.

Dharkoth says: She was trying to break me and did many things. I have no proof that what she showed me was really her

Baranthore seems to fume with anger.

Ghiddee says: An' what's with the loud-mouthed pally here, hm?
Ghiddee says: Heard him from back at the Hall.
Ghiddee says: Thought they taught ya to have betta' manners.

Jarrand says: He is enamored.

Baranthore pouts at everyone around him.

Ghiddee rolls her eyes at Baranthore.

Solivar says: The Highlord has been our ally for some time.

Baranthore chuckles at the word choice.

Ghiddee says: Who?

Jarrand points at Baranthore.

Baranthore looks at the goblin.
Baranthore says: We met once before...
Baranthore says: I am Highlord Baranthore Sunstriker.

Solivar says: Through the long campaign in Northrend, and in our endeavors against the Cult of the Damned there.

Ghiddee says: Psh. I don't remember it. But that's nothin' new. Sorry.

Jarrand says: Ghiddee, what do you think of this land?

Ghiddee lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Ghiddee says: This land is tainted.

Solivar says: Do not let his sparkling personality put you off.

Jarrand agrees with Ghiddee.

Solivar smiles wryly.

A sly smirk spreads across Baranthore's face.

Ghiddee kneels down.

Baranthore glances at the totem.
Baranthore swings his head over to stare at the druid.

Ghiddee says: This sample.. is disturbing, to say the least.

Baranthore glares at the trinkets around Luckÿ's neck.

Solivar shudders slightly, armor chiming gently, as the totem's energies touch him.

Baranthore says: Any reason you keep those?

Luckÿ says: Spoils of war, even some paladins here...

Leía says: i like fire

Baranthore grins wickedly at Luckÿ.

Leía lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.

Baranthore says: Maybe one day when you are old enough to even drink.. perhaps I will get the chance to rip those from your neck and wear them as my own.

Jarrand says: Earth without earth, a sign clearer than the mud we step in.

Dharkoth says: What is the ground here like?

Baranthore says: [Thalassian] If you have never seen our beautiful city.. than words can not hold any hope for you. Only your eyes can show you.
Baranthore says: [Thalassian] I can try to heal your wounds, it may not cure what ever pains you, but it will ease it temporarily.

Solivar rolls the mostly-melted stub of a candle between his hands, eyes shuttered, face unnaturally expressionless, even for him.

Dharkoth says: something must, for there is grass and weeds

Leía says: [Thalassian] i lost my parents in the fire
Leía says: [Thalassian] that consumed deatholme

Jarrand says: I'd not call this the bloom of life.

Ghiddee says: Mushrooms grow on.. well...

Baranthore says: The Third War took much from us....

Ghiddee says: Ahem.

Leía says: [Thalassian] any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated

Baranthore says: Deatholme is not any greener than it was when you saw it before...

Dharkoth says: but is can grow if nutured?

Baranthore says: Lay down then, I will try.

Leía says: [Thalassian] ok
Leía lies down.

Baranthore says: You may feel warm. But do not turn away from it.

Ghiddee says: I am not certain that these weeds and grass are a sign of life or a sign of a parasite.

Leía lies down.

Baranthore flips through a libram, skipping to a chapter marked with strange symbols.

Dharkoth says: Lucky what does the rest of this place look like from the air?

Luckÿ says: I don't like it, too many fronts to protect against, easily outflanked from a cave to the North...

Leía says: [Thalassian] i feel warm
Leía says: [Thalassian] it feels nice

Baranthore thinks and looks back to his Libram.

Dharkoth says: what about the hall over there
Dharkoth points over yonder.

Leía smiles as the pain in her boday and mind leaves

Ghiddee says: It's empty.

Jarrand says: It does have a wall.

Baranthore says: There.

Leía says: [Thalassian] thank you

Baranthore says: I cannot say how long it will last.

Leía says: [Thalassian] i feel so much better

Solivar says: Anything attempting to pass through the tunnel would first have to traverse the poisoned glade...and then avoid Acherus' eyes.

Leía says: [Thalassian] the pain is gone for now

Baranthore extends his hand to help Leia off the ruined archway.

Leía says: [Thalassian] the only way to make it premant is to kill my master

[The group examines the grounds of the Enclave's town hall.]

Dharkoth says: the wall seems to be intact.

Jarrand says: So here the poison is in a bottle.

Leía says: come
Leía says: i feel better now

Baranthore mumbles something about seeing Goody Solivar with the Devil.

Leía gently pats Rhuunhym.

Dharkoth says: Ghiddee could you do something witth entry way?

Leía says: sir dharkoth?

Baranthore shudders again.

[A ghostly image appears for a second time, now clearly visible as identical to Baranthore. It slowly fades from view.]

Leía says: ghidde?
Leía says: you coming
Leía shrugs. Who knows?

Luckÿ says: Anyone else seeing that?

Leía says: come rhuunhym

Solivar blinks rapidly several times.

Leía says: good boy
Leía gently pats Rhuunhym.

Luckÿ says: The paladin is up to something...I told you he couldn't be trusted.

Baranthore glares angrily at Luckÿ.

[Baranthore, Solivar, Jarrand, and Leia go into the empty shell of the town hall, while the others remain outside.]

Solivar says: Baranthore....Are you well?

Baranthore says: I am fine
Baranthore smells Jarrand. Wow, someone stinks!

Leía says: what did i miss, sir dharkoth seems off today
Leía shrugs. Who knows?

Jarrand laughs at Baranthore.

Baranthore says: It is probably his post partum possession taking effect again.
Baranthore lets out a hearty chuckle.

Leía lets out a hearty chuckle.
Leía says: that was my problem, but thanks to you not anymore, for a while at least

Jarrand says: So we now have an empty room in an empty building in an empty town.

Solivar glances at Jarrand out of the corner of his eyes.

Leía says: looks that way

Baranthore says: Don't act like it isn't somewhat amusing to think of this place as your own.
Baranthore says: So... Solivar... killed any living beings lately?
Baranthore grins at you wickedly.

Jarrand says: Amusing, like a hunting partner slipping on fresh spoor, perhaps.

Solivar says: Baranthore...I devoutly hope you did not call us all this way solely to attempt to torment me. I know what I have done.

Baranthore says: I would never, friend.
Baranthore says: I simply find it... amusing that you would end up in a place like this.
Baranthore says: Especially at my own request.

Leía gently pats Rhuunhym.
Leía says: good boy rhuunhym
Leía gently pats Rhuunhym.

Solivar says: The irony is lacerating. ::flatly:: You are, however, entirely correct. Steadfast requires a home -- and this place requires...assistance...if it is to recover.

Baranthore nods.
Baranthore says: I have.... procured... some... assistance if it is needed to repair this place.

Jarrand says: How so, Paladin?

Solivar says: Oh? What sort of assistance?

Baranthore grins wickedly.
Baranthore says: When the possessed leader of the Scarlet Crusade revealed his true form, that of a demonlord, he turned and killed all of the members of the crusade, those you know see at Tyr's Hand.
Baranthore says: They are mindless, rotting corpses, that still somehow maintain their original purpose...
Baranthore says: To kill.
Baranthore says: I have... repurposed them...
Baranthore says: They can serve as mindless workers if needed, to clean the place up.

Solivar looks, for an instant, uttery appalled.

Jarrand shakes his head, looking to the ground.

Baranthore looks on blankly, clearly seeing nothing wrong with that, something that would otherwise aggrivate him.

Leía asks you to wait.
Leía lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Leía taps her foot. Hurry up already!

Baranthore raises his eyebrow inquisitively at Leía.
Baranthore says: The Light has bid it done, if needed.

Solivar says: You? *You* repurposed them? How...

Baranthore says: The Light, as of late, has shown me new powers, ones that are somewhat more pursuasive.

Leía says: sorry im just going to step out for some air, pardon men
Leía says: me

Jarrand says: Don't breathe too deeply.

Solivar 's voice, when he finally finds it again, comes out more than a little strangled. "The LIGHT has shown you this?"

Baranthore says: Yes... and if it would grant powers as such, I would be foolish to not make use of them for a good purpose.

Jarrand says: Again, something you take?

Baranthore glares angrily at Jarrand.

Solivar says: ...Baranthore...Whatever you think you know of this -- whatever you think you have learned -- this *cannot* be true!

Baranthore says: Taking something given is better than taking something that is not... Taking a life... Who am I to slaughter those fiends.... their lives are not mine to take.
Baranthore says: Oh but it is Solivar...
Baranthore says: This morning alone I listened to the Light.
Baranthore says: The chapel here is still quite full of holy energy.

[The ruins of the town hall briefly fill with painful brilliance.]

Solivar says: Nnngh.

Jarrand says: Something is afoot, even with the Light present.

Solivar retreats a half-step.

Jarrand says: Ill omens abound.
Jarrand says: Death Knight?

Solivar says: What you are saying cannot be true, Baranthore. The Light despises such things -- they are warped and tainted and unholy at their innermost core.

Baranthore laughs.

Solivar says: I *know* this.

Baranthore says: The Light no longer speaks to the likes of you Death Knight, what do you know of the Light.
Baranthore says: When last did you pray?
Baranthore grins wickedly.

Jarrand says: A sword is not a shield, Paladin.

Solivar says: I know, you fool, *because* of what I am!

Baranthore spits on the ground.
Baranthore says: You take life, I guard it.
Baranthore says: If you think the Light to be misleading me, than I beseech you to go and slaughter those at Tyr's Hand.

Jarrand says: Those already slaughtered, you mean?

Baranthore grins wickedly.
Baranthore says: If cats have nine lives why can't we?
Baranthore grins wickedly.

Solivar says: Baranthore...
Solivar shakes his head.

Baranthore looks onward at Solivar.

Solivar says: This cannot be what you think it is, Baranthore.

Baranthore says: If those at Tyr's Hand should be condemned to death, then shouldn't you good friend?
Baranthore stares into Solivar's eyes.

Jarrand says: You are not so foolish, Paladin.

Baranthore says: Your words are of fire and wind and earth not of life and death, Orc.

Solivar says: I have stood ready to answer for what I have done from the start, Baranthore.

Baranthore says: Life is that of my court, and death of his.
Baranthore locks eyes with Solivar, his hand slowly reaching around to his sword.

Solivar says: Yes. Life *is* yours, *paladin.* Life and healing and purification, the mending of the ill and the defense of the helpless.
Solivar says: You are turning your back upon that.

Baranthore says: No, I seek to fulfill my duty, but you would tell me otherwise. You would say not to make use of those that have no purpose?

Solivar says: Whatever speaks to you...whatever grants you this power you claim...it is not a thing of righteousness.

Baranthore says: Righteousness....
Baranthore drops his hand from his sword and grabs hold of Solivar's shoulder, leaning in close. "You know little of what Righteousness is. The Light speaks to those who are pure."
Baranthore says: Come to the Chapel... and you will understand.

Jarrand lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.

Solivar says: No purpose? They are mindless -- imprisoned in a cage of magic and flesh -- and you are choosing to perpetuate their torment. That is not providing purpose -- that is an act of cruelty.
Solivar grinds his teeth, but inclines his head in acquiescence.
Solivar grips Jarrand's shoulder and hisses, "Get the others out of here."

Baranthore says: And if that be so.. it would be you, to end their "torment." Having been the one to exact such horrors on those before them..

Jarrand nods at you.

[Jarrand, in the form of the ghost wolf, goes to find the others. Baranthore and Solivar walk together across the withered hills of the Scarlet Enclave toward the ruined Chapel of the Holy Flame.]

Baranthore says: We were here once before...
Baranthore says: Do you remember?

Solivar says: ....I remember it.

Baranthore says: Cathrinia...
Baranthore says: Where is she?

Solivar 's tone is soft, barely above the sound of the rain. "I cannot free them, Baranthore. It is not in my power -- it has never been."

Leía says: baranthore!
Leía says: snap out of it!
Leía says: damn banshee

Solivar says: ...I have not seen Cathrinia since Northrend...since the night we stopped the Vortex.

Baranthore glances back at Leia.

Leía says: rhuunhym, stop him

Baranthore says: She is scarred now, and broken.
Baranthore says: Come pray Solivar... it is long overdue.

[The ghostly image of Baranthore flickers into view again and fades.]

Dharkoth says: well what have we here?
Dharkoth says: so tell me Baranthore how long have you been seeing your guilt?

Baranthore says: I have no guilt

Dharkoth says: you have NO guilt?

Baranthore says: Be silent fool, Solivar must now face the Light.
Baranthore says: You would do well not to interfere.

Dharkoth says: you are the one who need that
Dharkoth says: you are the one covered in guilt

Dharkoth says: tell me Baranthore you do not set in the dark and blame yourself for what happened to your daughter?

Dharkoth says: it is his fault
Dharkoth says: HE left the child

Leía 's eyes glaze over and she walks and kneels before the podium

Baranthore says: Move, Tauren.. this is not your place.

Dharkoth says: The child he swore to protect
Dharkoth says: HE left her

Leía kneels down.

Luckÿ says: Only way I shall move is if you make me, Paladin!

Solivar says: ...I gave him my word that I would save her. ::wearily:: Peace, brother druid.

Dharkoth says: tell me little knight of light where are your vows?

Leía starts mumbling "where were you, you promised me, f....a...t..h"

Luckÿ says: You say peace to me? but not the paladin? He is clearly turning you against us!

Solivar says: I stood in a place like this once...and I spoke the words...

Luckÿ says: Snap out of Solivar!

Dharkoth says: no he is twisted inside
Dharkoth says: Solivar step back

Baranthore says: Pray, Solivar.

Luckÿ says: What in the...?

Baranthore pushes Dharkoth out of the way.

Dharkoth says: Solivar I said to get out and I mean now!

Leía says: mother im sorry
Leía lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.

Baranthore places a hand on Solivar's shoulder.

Dharkoth says: and it is not your guilty blood oath breaker

Dharkoth says: Baranthore you worthless wretched so called father

Jarrand says: Enough. You have badgered and clawed at each other, not a hint of brotherhood I've seen from you especially, Paladin.

Dharkoth says: you wish to give ordfer to another yet you can not even keep your word
Dharkoth says: why should anyone listen to you?

Baranthore looks onto Solivar.

Ghiddee kneels down.

Solivar says: ...What *are* you?

Baranthore says: I am an embodiment of the Light.

Dharkoth says: HOLY!
Dharkoth laughs.

Baranthore says: Will you not pray with me now?
Baranthore kneels down.

Jarrand says: Paladin, there are better places to pray.
Jarrand says: If you look to the light, look for it where it can be found.

Solivar kneels, almost against his will.

Leía says: and yeah i guess your right
Leía says: ^_^

Ghiddee says: Jarramd/

Baranthore nods to an unseen presence.

Ghiddee says: We must do something to snap them from their stupor.

Leía zones out trying to make sense of the strange memories

Jarrand agrees with Ghiddee.

Dharkoth says: Jarrand keep an eye on them. if he keeps this up put him to sleep or something

Luckÿ says: I may know the answer to that exact problem. But before I even say anything. Dharkoth your presence please.

Solivar retreats a step, two, his hand resting over his midsection.

Ghiddee says: Cmon, snap out of it and back away, Solivar!

Baranthore says: Why leave now? He has been cleansed.

Leía rocks back and forth mumbling about the strange memories, then her eyes perk apon hearing a familiur voice

Ghiddee furrows her brow.

Jarrand says: Death Knight, unless you wish to follow this through to its end, no doubt living up to your name, we'd best leave him here.

Leía says: F....a...t....h...e....r
Leía says: you promised
Leía lays her head on her knees

Solivar says: ...You are correct, Windspeaker. I...We should go.

Leía hangs her head dejectedly.

Solivar says: Lady...come...

Leía says: huh
Leía says: he promised

Jarrand says: Now is not a time for promises. Pragmatism holds sway for the moment.

Solivar glances over his shoulder at Baranthore, and turns back to the lady, offering his hand.

Leía refuses to move, mumbling about her father

Solivar says: Come with us. Please.

Ghiddee 's air totem helps keep the air pure around the chapel.

Leía says: hmm
Leía says: um ok

Ghiddee says: No more dilly dallying!

Leía says: i guess

Ghiddee says: GET OUT HERE.

Jarrand beckons Leía over.
Jarrand says: Madness.
